This electric bike tour in Italy starts at the meeting point, placed in the E Bike Travel Siena shop, just outside of the walls of the city. Here, we'll perform a bike fitting and the preparatory briefing, prior to the start of our cycling tour.
Our first stop will be the Chianti Sculpture Park, distant aroung 2 hs cycling. To get there, we'll cross the fascinating hills of the Chianti Classico, mainly using the iconic dirt roads of the Eroica, revealing, in a slow and contemplative way, an area rich in food and wine traditions. There'll be stops for story telling along the way and also for taking pictures of the alluring landscape.
Arriving at the Sculptures Park, you'll be left some free time to explore it, before we come back to our saddles again.
After acquiring some inspiration in the arts part, we restart cycling bound for the Hotel Borgo Scopeto, famous for having been the scenario for the film "Letters to Juliet". After some stories and pause for a picture, we'll get by the winery of Scopeto to undertake the wine tasting experience. Here, you can deepen your exploration of the tastes of the territory by sampling one of its greatest expressions: Chianti Classico.
The wine tasting includes up to 3 glasses paired with a chopping board of cold local cuts. The return to Siena is predominantly downhill, using roads with less traffic as much as possible.

Do I have to be super fit to participate in your E bike tours?
The itineraries, combined with the assisted E bikes that we offer in our tours, are developed to be suitable to all shapes of bodies. We carefully assess the tracks so that to select the gentler and less trafficked routes in order to end up with the safer possibilities. The only characteristic that is essential to have prior to joining us is at least a minimum of technical ability to drive an E bike (see our E bikes here) under gravel or dirt road. You won’t find anything hard such as going downhill in our E Bike tours, we just need that you feel comfortable in steering and braking under these pavements. So, if you have already, even if a while ago, riden an E Bike under these conditions, we’re quite sure that you’re skilled to join us. Just remembering that prior to any of our tours, we’ll provide you a safety talk, or, if necessary, mentoring, on how to use the pedal-assisted E bikes and will also conceal some free time to test drive them under these conditions, under the supervision of the Tour Leader. To wrap it up, we’ll make everything in our control to make you relax, empower yourself and have a great time!
