Guided Ebike tour, developed in partnership with Agrivar, for those who are in search of a more adventurous and physical intensive kind of tour. Immerse you in the territorial context where the winery resides raising awareness of the environmental and cultural factors that give birth to the terroir that carries the singular conditions at the base of their unique wines. Explore magnificent landscape such as the Pliocene Calanchi, delve into the uniqueness of the village of Dozza one of the most beautiful villages of Italy, dotted with urban arts and its monumental castle and contemplate medieval fortresses in the Imola territory. We end on a high note with the wine tasting experience, savouring the flavours and aromas of delicious own-produced specialties such as the excellent olive oil, while pairing these delights with their exquisite wines while being guided by experient somelliers.

Duration: total of 8 hs

  • 09.00 am - Meeting in front of the Winery of Agrivar. Guide presentation, introductory talk, Bike fitting, Ebikes’ test drive and safety briefing

    09.30 am - Departure from the meeting point, heading towards the village of Liano, uphill, riding along Varignana’s estates and vineyards

    10.30 - After a short downhill section, arrival at the village of San Martino in Pedriolo. Pause for coffee, refreshments and toilet at a local Cafe and Pasticceria.

    11.00 - We cross the river Sillaro and start gaining elevation until we reach the lunar forms of the Calanchi of the Pliocene. Time for storytelling and some pictures.

    12.00 - After a pleasant downhill section, we get to the valley of the Torrent Sellustra and then up to our explorative pause at Dozza. The guide will give an orientation talk and then leave some time for you to explore and maybe eat something.

    13.00 - We climb up to our saddles in the direction of the river Sillaro. Then we take the dirt roads along the watercourse.

    14.30 - We reach San Martino in Pedriolo.(optional pause) before start climbing in the direction of Liano.

    16.00 - We enter the surroundings of the village of Varignana, crossing the oil mill of Agrivar and then stopping at the gardens of Villa Amagioia

    16.10 - Continue cycling towards Agrivar, mostly downhill through local secondary roads.

    16.30 - Arrival at the winery. Time to say good-bye to the guide and freshen up before the wine tasting.

    17.00 - The visit in the cellar starts and subsequently you’ll get to savour the flavors and scents of the winery.

    18.30 - The tasting is programmed to end around this time. Of course that you can stay as much as you want until the closure of the venue.t goes here

    • Technical Difficulty: medium. Medium/high gradient climbs, with uneven pavement, descents on gravel.

    • Overall Difficulty: media -alta. Adatta ad un pubblico gia con molta dimestichezza della MTB, allenato e che cerca un po’ di adrenalina e fatica fisica, oltre che panorami mozzafiatto.and who regularly does low-intensity physical activity.

    • Suitable for: all ages (minimum of 18 up to senior ages).

    • In the event of cancellation of the tour due to bad weather, it will be rescheduled. If participation on the new proposed date is impossible, the amount will be refunded (depending on the payment method, management costs may be withheld)

    • As long as the cancellation is requested within 48 hours of the start time of the chosen tour, the refund will be granted in full, with management costs relating to the payment method being withheld.
