Hike & Wine: Among Rows of Grapevines and Pieces of Artwork of Palazzo di Varignana (short track)
The itinerary combines experiencing nature, with a touch of history, modern art and landscape designing. With a local guide expert on the territory, we will ramble through the hills cultivated with vineyards via the property's gravel paths along which we will stop to tell both the company's history, the environmental redevelopment carried out and explain the different terroirs that give birth to excellent wines. Discover the fascinating places of the wine park such as the amphitheater on the lake, where concerts and open-air events take place during the summer season, get to know the Viale degli Ulivi Antichi, where you can glimpse centuries-old olive trees, admire the Ornamental Garden with its geometric shapes and great biodiversity designed by Antonio Perazzi and lose yourself in the characteristic plant labyrinth. Explore the surprising private art collection whose works are scattered along the itinerary. In this unique experience each step will reveal a new facet of this magnificent setting of Italy, where every corner is an invitation to slow down, reflect and enjoy every moment. To conclude in style, during the wine tasting, savour the flavors and aromas of delicious home-made specialties such as the exquisite olive oil and cold local cuts, pairing these delights with exceptional wines under the guidance of expert sommeliers.

12.00 am - Meeting in front of the Winery of Agrivar. Guide presentation, introductory talk, Bike fitting, Ebikes’ test drive and safety briefing
12.30 am - Departure from the meeting point, heading towards the village of San Pietro.
13.00 - Arrival at the village of San Pietro. Pause for storytelling and picture time.
13.30 - Crossing agriculture fields, we’ll enter the city of Ozzano dell’Emilia where we’ll make a fast stop for refreshments, eating a snack or toilets.
14.00 - We’ll step up to our saddles and head directly to Castel dei Britti, taking in stunning views to the Castle Machiavelli.
14.30 - we reach the shady and tranquil gravel road parallel to the torrent Idice and keep cycling until the village of Mercatale. Here, there’s an optional stop at the guide’s discretion (for coffee, refresments and toilet).
14.30 - We restart cycling uphill to reach the ruins of the church of Settefonti, not before stopping to contemplate the Calanchi Mounts.
15.30 - We get to visit the ruins of the church of Settefonti.
16.00 - Continue cycling towards Agrivar, mostly downhill through local secondary roads.
16.30 - Arrival at the winery. Time to say good-bye to the guide and freshen up before the wine tasting.
17.00 - The visit in the cellar starts and subsequently you’ll get to savour the flavors and scents of the winery.
18.30 - The tasting is programmed to end around this time. Of course that you can stay as much as you want until the closure of the venue.

In the event of cancellation of the tour due to bad weather, it will be rescheduled. If participation on the new proposed date is impossible, the amount will be refunded (depending on the payment method, management costs may be withheld)
As long as the cancellation is requested within 48 hours of the start time of the chosen tour, the refund will be granted in full, with management costs relating to the payment method being withheld.
